NZ Flax (Phormium Surfer) has a very graphic quality, the sinuous leaves, upright stems and delicate flowers. Based on drawings of the Flax outside my studio, we love how as a design it maintains its strength and texture. |

A classic Art Deco motif I like reminds me of water falling and the winter of 2010 seemed to be rain, rain and more rain. Six thousand rain drops later and they came together as Brollies. |

The Ladies took shape from some pencil drawings I had been working on. By layering the images we found an interesting pattern, and by reducing them to a silhouette it made more abstract. |
