Flax

NZ Flax (Phormium Surfer) has a very graphic quality, the sinuous leaves, upright stems and delicate flowers. Based on drawings of the Flax outside my studio, we love how as a design it maintains its strength and texture.

Brollies

A classic Art Deco motif I like reminds me of water falling and the winter of 2010 seemed to be rain, rain and more rain. Six thousand rain drops later and they came together as Brollies.

Ladies

The Ladies took shape from some pencil drawings I had been working on. By layering the images we found an interesting pattern, and by reducing them to a silhouette it made more abstract.
